TUFLOW Message
ERROR 2308 - Event <event name> not defined by "Define Event ==" command.

Alternate Message
NA

Message Type
ERROR

Description
The event specified when simulating the model is not defined in the .tef event file.

Suggestions
The event used for the simulation is either specified using the .tcf command: Model Events ==, or by using the –e switch when executing the model from a batch file, and may be verified within the .tlf log file. Note that the latter takes priority over the former. Commands relevant to this event have not been defined with a Define Event == command within the event file (.tef). An example of an event file is provided in Section 11.3.1 of the 2017 TUFLOW manual. Check the event name used for the simulation and ensure an entry exists for this event in the event file (.tef).
