  2. Go to the location of the TUFLOW model and navigate to the TUFLOW\runs folder. Select the TCF.
  3. In the Load Layers window, select:
    • Ordering Options: Alphabetical
    • Grouping Options: Group by control file
    • Raster Load Options: Load Normally
  4. Click ‘Open’ and ‘OK’.
You will receive a message stating that Projection mif file failed to load. Ignore this error and close the pop-up. The file will not be used in the new TUFLOW model.

Style the Layers

Styling can be done in many ways. We will change display symbology of the DTM dataset:

  1. In the QGIS Layers panel, click the tick box left of the 2d_bc_code and 2d_iwl_R layers so the underlying DTM dataset can be viewed.
  2. Right click on the DTM Grid file and select 'Properties'.
    • In the Symbology tab, under 'Band Rendering' select the following options:
    • Render type: Hillshade
    • Z Factor: 3
    • Click 'Apply' and 'OK'.

Save the QGIS Workspace

  1. From the top dropdown menu options, go to Project > Save As.
  2. Navigate to the file location containing the TUFLOW folder and save the workspace with the extension, .qgz.
