Jay Heiman, PE is a Professional civil engineer with over 27 years of experience in storm water control, drainage design, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, water system analysis, design, preparation of construction plans and drawings, and project permitting. His work has included analysis using HEC-1, HEC-2, HEC-6, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, UNET, Flo-2D, SMS, XP-SWMM, EPA-SWMM and local and specialty applications for hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design. He also has experience in water systems analysis, design, operations and administration, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, project and construction management, preparation of construction plans and drawings, and project permitting. He has extensive experience in computer models and program development for water systems from small community water supply systems to the California State Water Project. Additional applications experience includes the use of ESRI’s ArcView and ArcGIS software, Geo-HMS, Geo-RAS and the application of GIS in hydrology and hydraulic systems analysis.
