=Introduction= This page contains a brief introduction to the ArcGIS software. A number of ArcGIS tasks which are repeatedly used in creating a TUFLOW model are described below, each of these has a separate page. When TUFLOW outputs in shapefile format, each file ends in:<br> *_P to indicate a point file; *_L to indicate a line file; or * _R to indicate a region (polygon) file. =HEC-RAS Geometric Data to TUFLOW Conversion (sdf_to_GIS.exe)= sdf_to_GIS.exe converts HEC-RAS SDF (export format) to TUFLOW compatible GIS format.
