Kate has over 17 years’ experience of computational modelling of rivers in one, two and three dimensions in the UK. The early part of her career was spent in research and she has spent the last twelve years working on consultancy projects. Her career has involved a wide range of studies in the fields of flood mapping, flood warning improvements and feasibility studies for flood alleviation schemes. Kate is a technical director with JBA Consulting providing modelling support both within the company and externally. She is the author and developer of JBA’s 2 dimensional raster based flood model, JFlow, which models overland flood flows.  She has been using TUFLOW since it was first launched in the UK and regularly links it with ISIS.
