The benefit of this approach is that there will be no licencing complications for the students. Students will be able to run simulations on any computer at any time. =TUFLOW's Free Education (Demo) Mode=

Universities are welcome to use TUFLOW's licence free Demo mode for research or education purposes. The free Demo option is included within the standard TUFLOW executable. It is fully enabled, will function in any geographic region, though has the following limits:
:*100,000 total cells and 30,000 active (potentially flooded) cells
:*100 1D channels
:*There can only be one CPU 2D domain (M2D is not supported). HPC Quadtree is supported.
:*A simulation time of 10 minutes.
:*CPU and GPU compute are supported.
