Franciscus joined Opus in May 2008 as a Senior Hydraulic Engineer in the Rivers & Coastal Engineering Work Group. His recent experience includes modelling and analysing piped networks, open channels, hydraulic structures, and waves generated in harbours as well as two-dimensional computational modelling of flows over floodplains.
Franciscus studied Civil Engineering at the University of Canterbury and later at the Delft University of Technology (The Netherlands) where he specialized in Hydrologic Models, Hydrology, Integrated and Operational Water Management, Water Management in Rural Areas, Irrigation and Distributed Database Systems.
