<p><b>New page</b></p><div>Having completed a MSc in Mathematical and Numerical Modelling of the Atmosphere and Oceans I joined Halcrow Ltd in 2008 as a Graduate Hydraulic Modeller. I am primarily involved in flood risk management and design feasibility. I have a high degree of technical knowledge in the area of hydraulic modelling and have successfully delivered a range of hydraulic models in ISIS and TUFLOW including highly complex urban systems, tidal estuaries and lowland fluvial systems. My mathematical background enables me to overcome modelling challenges and deliver effective models. I can also produce flood mapping outputs, including hazard maps, using MapInfo and ArcView and have undertaken quality control assessment as part of review of model outputs.</div>Bill Syme
