New page

Dr Sangaralingam Ahilan has research interests in statistical and numerical modelling in water engineering applications. He is currently working on two multidisciplinary EPSRC funded research projects in University of Leeds. The first project, Blue-Green City aims to recreate a naturally-oriented water cycle by combining and protecting the hydrological and ecological values of the urban landscape while providing resilient and adaptive measures to deal with flood events. The second project examines the behaviours of small and medium organisations during flood events and models their interaction with other emergency response organisations.
