TUFLOW Message
WARNING 2813 - Using Quadtree Mesh Processing Method == MEMORY EFFICIENT can significantly increase mesh processing time and is not recommended when using more than 10 nesting polygons.

Alternate Message
NA

Message Type
WARNING

Description
Using the Quadtree Control File (QCF) command Quadtree Mesh Processing Method == Memory Efficient can significantly increase mesh processing time and is not recommended when using more than 10 nesting polygons. The 'Memory Efficient' option treats each GIS polygon in the 2d_qnl layer as a separate domain for the processing of geometry inputs. Whilst being more memory efficient during mesh creation, this may be slower to initialise. It has no effect on the speed of the hydraulic computations or the memory demand during the hydraulic calculations.

Suggestions
Update the QCF command to the default method 'FAST', Quadtree Mesh Processing Method == FAST. Refer to the TUFLOW Manual for more information on quadtree mesh processing.
