Hit the plus symbol next to the time series tab and select the [[File:results_lp_v2.png | 15px]] Cross Section Plot:<br>

Introduction

QGIS is used to view the 1D time series results with the TUFLOW Viewer 2. For viewing of the 2D map results, and selecting TUFLOW Viewer 2, see Module 1 using TUFLOW Viewer 2.

Method

Plot Time Series results through the culverts:

  1. Open the Time series results, by either.
  2. Within the QGIS Browser Panel drag the following layers into the QGIS workspace,
    • M03_5m_001_PLOT_L
    • M03_5m_001_PLOT_P
    Or drag and drop the M03_5m_001.tpc from the Module_03\TUFLOW\results\plot folder > to select the time series output results.
  3. Select the M03_5m_001_PLOT_L file in the Layers panel and click on the 'Tuflow Viewer Plot Window' icon. The plot widget will open.
  4. Select the Data Types icon and click on 'Flow', then using the 'Selection' icon highlight one of the 1d_nwk lines.



Hit the plus symbol next to the time series tab and select the Cross Section Plot:

  1. Select the Data Types icon and click on 'bed level, max water level, water level, pipes', then using the 'Selection' icon highlight one of the 1d_nwk lines.



Conclusion

  • The 1D results were assessed including time series and long profile results using TUFLOW Viewer 2.
