Alternate Message
NA
Message Type
ERROR
Description
When applying the Engelhund loss approach for manholes (see Section 4.5.2 of the 2010 TUFLOW manual), if an incoming culvert enters above the obvert of the highest outlet, the culvert is not included in the manhole loss calculations. If there is only 1 incoming pipe with the invert above the obvert of the outlet culvert, the incoming culvert is ignored and with no inlet culvert to the node a manhole is not possible. See also point 48(b) in the release notes.
Suggestions
Review the inverts on the culverts. A point object in a "1d_mh" layer can be used to set the loss approach at each manhole.
