Versions of TUFLOW prior to 2023-03 allowed the flag 'ADD' to be inserted after the command '<tt><font color=blue>Read GIS Soil</font></tt>' (i.e. '<tt><font color=blue>Read GIS Soil ADD</font><font color=red> ==</font></tt>'). This flag raised the 'SoilID' value in the ~~2D_soil~~2d_soil GIS layer by 1, so that the area assigned a 'SoilID' of 2 in the 2d_soil GIS layer would have adopted the parameter values specified for Soil 3 in the TUFLOW Soil File (.tsoilf). If the 'SoilID' value + 1 wasn't listed in the TUFLOW Soil File (.tsoilf) this would have triggered <u>[[TUFLOW_Message_2315\|ERROR 2315]]</u>. From the TUFLOW 2023-03 release onwards the flag 'ADD' is no longer supported for the '<tt><font color=blue>Read GIS Soil</font><font color=red> ==</font></tt>' command, and will trigger this error (ERROR 2579). ~~ERROR 2315.
