TUFLOW Message
ERROR 1112 - Channel ",a,", also occurs elsewhere in the model.

Alternate Message
NA

Message Type
ERROR

Description
A channel with this ID occurs elsewhere in the TUFLOW model. Channel IDs can be up to 12 characters in length and must be unique. This error may also occur with automatically created 1d nodes. If a node has not been digitised at the end of a channel a new node is automatically created. The ID of automatic nodes is the first ten characters of the Channel ID with a “.1” or “.2” extension. “.1” is used if the node is at the start of the channel and “.2” if at the end. If more than one channel is connected to the created node, the Channel ID that occurs first alphanumerically is used.

Suggestions
Check channels have a unique ID, if this message is occuring at an automatically created node, you may need to have channel ID's that are 10 characters and unique. This ensures that when the nodes are created these also have unique IDs.
