TUFLOW’s HPC solver was officially released in September 2017. It is a 1D and 2D fixed grid explicit solver with Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) compatibility. It's speed and exceptional stability are making it one of the most popular TUFLOW solvers. This is particularly the case in situations where the runtime benefits of the GPU Module mean models that were otherwise too computationally intensive to run on CPU can now be simulated within sensible timeframes.
The following links provide useful HPC guidance to users. Further information is also available in the TUFLOW Manual (2017 and onwards) and in the TUFLOW Tutorials.

- HPC Features
- Running Models using TUFLOW HPC (including how to convert TUFLOW Classic and TUFLOW GPU (pre-2017) models to TUFLOW HPC)
- Understanding HPC Adaptive Timestepping
