TUFLOW Message 1313: Difference between revisions

This warning is expected when any inlet pipe has an invert above the highest soffit of all outputoutlet pipes. The pipe with high invert is ignored when determining manhole losses because it is essentially hydraulically disconnected. The full exit loss (if d/s controlled) or free-outflow (if not d/s controlled) is applied to the elevated inlet pipe. The exit losses of the inlet pipe and entry losses of the outlet pipe are not adjusted according to the approach/departure velocities as described in Section 5.7.6 of the TUFLOW Manual.
