TUFLOW Message
ERROR 2049 - Elevation of point inside Z Shape region is zero.
Alternate Message
ERROR 2049 - Elevation of point snapped to Z Line is zero.
ERROR 2049 - Z values equal to zero were found. View _messages.mif layer.
WARNING 2049 - Elevation of point inside Z Shape region is zero.
WARNING 2049 - Elevation of point snapped to Z Line is zero.
Description
Elevation point snapped to 2D breakline (Z Line) has an elevation of zero. This usually occurs when data is missing from the elevation point, this error prevents an absolute elevation of 0m being mistakenly used on a breakline.
Use .tgc command Zero Z Line Point == WARNING to issue the message as a WARNING and not as an ERROR.
Suggestions
If the zero value is incorrect and a non-zero elevation is intended fill in data or remove elevation point to interpolate from adjacent values. If you are wanting an elevation of 0m at a point, this check can be set to issue a warning or the zero elevation can be set to a value very close to zero e.g. 0.001m.
