HPC using an adaptive timestep doesn't necessarily synchronise with map output interval. In such case, the dt reported in hpc.dt.csv will show extremely small dt timestep to allow for writing results exactly at the map output interval. This adjustment doesn’t have any effect on the hydraulic calculation, it is not reported in the hpc.tlf, neither in the dt map output.
