HPC Adaptive Timestepping: Difference between revisions

Line 54:
HPC using an adaptive timestep doesn't necessarily synchronise with map and time series output interval. In such case, the minimum timestep (dt) reported in hpc.dt.csv will show reduced timestep to allow for writing results exactly at the map and time series output interval. This adjustment doesn’t have any effect on the hydraulic calculation, it is not reported in the hpc.tlf, neither shows in the dt map output. The dtStar in the hpc.dt.csv is the calculated 2D target timestep without any synchronisation applied.<br>
