TUFLOW Classic / HPC will save this file in the '''log''' folder (do not select the *.hpc.tlf if running TUFLOW HPC) and the result names are extracted directly from the log file. This method only supports loading '''*.xmdf''' map outputs (i.e. does not support *.dat). This is the preferred method of loading in map outputs and timeseries at the same time as there is no interpretation of what the output name is as there is with the previous method.

* '''*.fvc''' - TUFLOW FV Control file.The tool will deduce the output name and output folder from the FVC file.
