TUFLOW Message
ERROR 1031 - End of a WLL cannot snap to 1D node
Alternate Message
ERROR 1031 - End of a WLL cannot snap to a 1D channel
Message Type
ERROR
Description
This error indicates that there is a configuration problem with the 1d_wll and 1d_nwk layers
Suggestions
Load the messages, 1d_wll, 1d_nwk and 2d_bc layers into your GIS package. Using the messages layer, locate the area where the error occurs.
Check that the water level lines are configured correctly.
Remember:
Water level lines should go left to right looking downstream.
If the water level lines have only 2 vertices (no nodes on the lines, only a start and an end), then the line must go from 2d_bc to 2d_bc and cross the 1D network.
If the water level line have 3 or more vertices, then the line must go from 2d_bc to 2d_bc and snap to the 1D network.
Should you need further information on configuring water level lines, refer to Tutorial Model 4
