Description
Since the 2020-10-AA TUFLOW release, losses can be specified in the materials file to be applied to the global rainfall boundary condition in both the HPC and Classic solvers. Global Rainfall Use Material Loss == OFF is only supported for TUFLOW Classic for backward compatibility.
Suggestions
For HPC, comment out this command. For both HPC and Classic, the user can either apply material losses to the global rainfall, or apply the global/initial continuous losses by ensuring all material losses are removed from the materials file. Refer to the TUFLOW Manual for further information on global rainfall.
