    To enable the colour coding (syntax highlighting) in Notepad++:
  1. Ensure that you have downloaded the TUFLOW_Colouring.xml from the TUFLOW website.
  2. Select the User Defined Dialogue (lightning symbol, circled in red below) from the menu toolbars.
  3. NotepadPlusPlus UserDefinedDialogue.png
  4. In the dialogue, select Import
  5. Navigate to and select the TUFLOW_Colouring.xml file.
  6. Restart Notepd++.
  7. The colouring should now be associated with .tcf, .tgc, .tbc, .tmf and .ecf files.
  8. Note: When updating the syntax highlighting file with a newer version. Remember to first remove the existing "TUFLOW" language definition.
    • Select "TUFLOW" for the user language options
    • Select "Remove"
