TUFLOW Message
ERROR 0038 - Could not apply Set IWL == AUTO due to varying 2D HT boundary.

Alternate Message
NA

Message Type
ERROR

Description
If using the Set IWL == Auto feature, the IWL in the model is automatically set based on the water level at the downstream boundary. In this a varying HT boundary in the 2D model has been used and TUFLOW is unable to set the IWL automatically.

Suggestions
Ensure that only a single water level boundary is used or remove the Set IWL == Auto command and set the IWL manually using the Set IWL == <value>, Read GIS IWL == <gis layer> or Read Grid IWL == <grid dataset> commands.
