Introduction

QGIS is used to view the model results. For viewing of the 2D map results, see Module 1.

Method

Inspect the resolution of the outputs:

  1. Open the TUFLOW viewer.
  2. Select File > Load Results. Navigate to the M07_5m_001.tcf in the Module_07\TUFLOW\runs folder and open it.
  3. Turn on the Vector Velocity and Velocity from the Result Type panel. View the finer resolution of vectors within the level 2 grid compared to the level 1 grid:

Conclusion

  • The velocity and vector velocity outputs were inspected in relation to the grid resolution.
  • For further functionality, see TUFLOW Viewer.
