Getting Started with TUFLOW eLearning is free. If you are new to TUFLOW eLearning, a warm welcome.
eLearning Registration
Your first step will be to register. Heads up, the username you select must be lower case and no spaces. Remember your password.
You will not receive an email until your registration is approved. Approval is a manual review of registrations, so we may take a business day or 2 before you receive an email confirming your username.
Once the email from TUFLOW is received, you are ready to login to the TUFLOW eLearning site.
eLearning Login
You will need to login to the TUFLOW eLearning site. Use the username from the email and the password you selected.
After login, we suggest you select My Courses and select All. This will display all the courses you have enrolled in. Your list is likely empty.

Select Enrol me on the page and you will be taken directly to the TT001(E) course.
Installing Software
Your will be automatically enrolled in the course TT000(E): TUFLOW Product Suite - Software Setup
at the same time as TT001(E):
TT000(E): will take you through the steps of installing the required software and provide you with a sample dataset to test it. More on this course in the section, My Courses below.
In the image below, the course material is shown on the right side. Simply scroll down through the course material.
The course index, on the left, has section headers and activities. Selecting one of these, jumps the course material on the right to that item.
The course material, is split up into activities. The course above has a learning activity, TPS-QGIS Introduction and a certificate activity, Course certificate.
The Completion Progress bar is shown at the top of the course material. Each completed activity adds to your completion status.
The Course certificate activity cannot be viewed until other required activities are complete. There is only one required activity in this course.
Learning Activities
Learning activities are the heart of eLearning. TPS-QGIS Introduction is the only learning activity in this course.
To start the learning activity, select the activity in the course index (left), then select the Enter button.
A new popup window will appear (popups must be enabled in your browser). We suggest you maximize the popup window.
You are now on the learning activity home page.
WAIT!
Although it is tempting to select the Start Activity button, please scroll down and read the home screen text.
You will see all of the activity's lessons with their progress wheels to the right.
Your progress is remembered if you leave the activity completely and return at a later date.
The ? icon, on the left of a lesson, indicates that it is a quiz. You must at least attempt the quizzes in order to complete the course and receive a certificate.
My Courses
When you return to My Courses
you may be surprised to see TT000(E): TUFLOW Product Suite - Software Setup
You were auto enrolled in this course when you enrolled in TT001(E).
In the image below, you see 2 course cards. To star a course, click to ellipsis (...) in the right corner of a course card. Once you have enrolled in several courses, the star is perfect to mark the course you are currently completing. Change All to Starred to filter the list.
The course percentage complete is based on the activities completed. For example, in TT001(E), you will not be 100% complete until you complete the learning activity and the certificate activity.
