TUFLOW Message
WARNING 1132 - Channel <channel ID> assigned an unusually high form loss per unit length via the Exit_Loss attribute.
Alternate Message
NA
Message Type
ERROR
Description
The Exit_Loss attribute on the 1d_nwk can be used to set a form loss per unit length of channel, the value specified is unusually high. This value is multiplied by the channel length to determine the final value applied on the channel.
This functionality was introduced in the 2016 version of TUFLOW and currently only applies to "S" type (open channels).
Care should be taken when upgrading when upgrading to the 2016 version of TUFLOW if exit losses are specified on open channels - for pre 2016 versions of TUFLOW this attribute was not used for open channels.
Suggestions
Review the input form loss value per unit length and the final value of form loss applied (see the Form_Loss attribute in the 1d_nwk_C check file) for open channels. For consistency with pre 2016 versions of TUFLOW, this should be set to 0.0 for "S" type channels.
