TUFLOW’s HPC solver was officially released in September 2017. It is a 1D and 2D fixed grid explicit solver with Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) compatibility. Its speed and exceptional stability are making it one of the most popular TUFLOW solvers. This is particularly the case in situations where the runtime benefits of the GPU Module mean models that were otherwise too computationally intensive to run on CPU can now be simulated within sensible timeframes. <br>
